| Bio: | [This is a character journal for Kiseki.] Character's name: Suu Character's age: Around 14 but seems younger Character's gender: Female Series the character is from: CLOVER Point in canon they're being taken from: Volume 3 (Shortly after Oruha is murdered) Brief background: Years ago when the government ran a search for children gifted with magical powers a group was selected and branded for experimentation. These became the children of the Clover Project. Each child was assigned a specific category according to the level of power they possessed: one-leaf, two-leaf, three and finally four-leaf Clovers. Most of those most powerful were destined to remain secluded from the outside world, living in labs so that their power couldn't be used to overthrow the government. Out of all these children Suu surpassed even the three-leaf Clovers, being the only four-leaf in existence. According to the council of the Wizards (old men and women owners of psychic powers) it would take the five of them joining forces to be able to contest against the power of a three-leaf. A four-leaf was simply beyond their range. Therefore, so that her enormous power could never be used for a single person's ambition alone, Suu was destined to be lonely and have no contact with people whatsoever. She was kept in a lovely greenhouse, taken care of by animated dolls in the shape of animals and kept company by mechanical bird replicas. Having been raised like that since childhood Suu never resisted this fate. Until one day she heard the voice of a singer that captivated her. Suu's power allowed her to hear any sound wave present in the air, no matter how remote. So she listened to this singer's beautiful lyrics about love and happiness and grew, without first realizing so, to love the singer, Oruha. Taking pity of her loneliness, one of the five Wizards, general Ko, allowed Suu to meet Oruha through a phone call. Oruha and Suu became friends and even wrote the song "Clover" together, until the day Oruha confessed she was fated to die. After her death, Suu begged of general Ko to allow her one first and final wish: to be taken to Fairy Park by Oruha's boyfriend, a retired military man called Kazuhiko, so she could know the happiness of that one wish. The dangerous journey made Suu realize she loved Kazuhiko much as she'd loved Oruha without knowing her personally (a sorta "inherited" love, in a sense |D). Upon arriving to Fairy Park, she fulfilled her promise to general Ko, and killed herself. That way her attachment to Kazuhiko wouldn't compromise the Wizards' power. Personality: Having lived isolated from the world all her life, Suu's extremely naive and seems rather helpless despite her supposedly tremendous powers. All the time she acts extremely accepting of her destiny to be alone, though still hopeful about seeking the happiness of this one wish (a "True Elsewhere", as Oruha's lyrics put it) and transcend her existence as a Clover. She's quite jaded about her nature and never makes any attempt to use her powers to try to overcome it. However, she acts very determined along the journey to Fairy Park and even uses some of her abilities to protect Kazuhiko. Suu is always associated to a little bird. She's really bird-like: small, fragile, with large leaf-green eyes that seem curious about everything. She also has the ability to sprout small mechanical wings out of her back which she can morph at will and use for flying. Suu sings constantly ever since she learned from Oruha, though she always sings the same song they wrote together. She's very honest and can be very sweet despite her utter lack of social skills makes her appear detached and introverted. She still has a very curious streak about things that are new to her and will ask straightforwardly. She holds a great devotion toward Oruha, who taught her through her songs and chats things she wouldn't have learned any other way. Her love for Oruha seems very genuine, to the point her later confession of love to Kazuhiko seems almost based on these feelings for Oruha and everything the singer told her about Kazuhiko during her conversations. He was honestly kind to Suu along their journey though never showed romantic interest, treating her more like a father figure. | ||||||||||
